Laboratory Thickener

The Kani Karan Asia Laboratory Spiral Rake Thickener is built in numerous size; to accommodate practically all settling and clarifying problems encountered in continuous mineral processing laboratories and industrial pilot plant operations. Spiral rakes convey settled solids to cone in one revolution to prevent excessive buildup and overloading. Entire unit is self contained and can be easily installed at any desired point in the plant. Complete unit consists of motor, superstructure, rake mechanism and shaft, tank, center feed well and ¾ simplex Suction Pressure Diaphragm Pump. Worm gear reducer drive mechanism is complete with hand wheel rake lifting device. Special 30° spiral rakes and cone scraper are supplied. Angle rakes are available. Structural steel, low head, beam type super structure mounts on edge of tank. Cone bottom welded steel tank complete with overflow launder, discharge cone and hose connection Both thickener mechanism and pump are V-belt driven by single, total enclosed gear motor. Acid proof construction through use of stainless steel, rubber plastic covered tanks and wetted parts is available
